sonos 5 wont connect

I have a Sonos 5 generation one that I have used with no problem. I bought the new roam and my Sonos app now finds the roam and plays music just fine but the 5 will not connect at all and says it cant be found. My husband is able to play music through the 5, but he didnt add the roam. Thanks

You must have the Play:5 (Gen 2). Unplug the Play:5 from power for about a minute and see if it reconnects.

The Play:5 (Gen 1) is only compatible with the S1 app. The Roam is only compatible with the S2 app. You are probably running the S2 app and your husband is still running the S1 app.

I uninstalled the S1 app prior to buying the roam and installed the S2 app and my sonos 5 worked fine.  My husband also has the S2 app
