why is the music not working when paired as surround speakers major flaw returning my sonos 300 speakers

It sounds like you’ve got the Sonos Era 300 music playback settings set to Ambient instead of Full. To change this, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Sonos app for iOS or Android.
  2. From the Settings tab, tap System.
  3. Under Products, tap your Sonos home theater room.
  4. Under Sound, tap Surround Audio.

There you can adjust Music Playback and change it to Full.
