I am trying to add a second sub to my current

Play:5 + sub setup. In settings->system->room there is no option to add a second sub. I also try to assign the sub to the room, but it says ‘a compatible sonos speaker is required …’

anybody achieved second sub wirh play:5?

Two subs in a single “room” requires them to be in a Home Theater setup, it can’t be done with just a PLAY:5.
