I’m looking at using Sonos within my salon, I three treatments 3x3 metres sq each and then a larger reception… I’m wondering if a era 100 or 300 would be suitable in each treatment room and what I would be best with in reception area?

A 100 is plenty for each treatment area, especially if you only want ambient music. In reception I would get a stereo pair of 100’s or a single Five. The 300’s main advantage is Atmos, and you won’t hear those effects in a reception area.
