I hear random clicks an pops while watching tv

The Arc Ultra should be connected to an ARC or eARC connection on your TV,  not one of the HDMI ones, the cable may look like an HDMI one but it must also support the ARC data.

The Era-300 doesn't connect to a TV, and a single Sonos can't be a surround speaker so I'm still a bit lost there.

Do you have two Move 2s connecting over wifi?

Do you have two 300s? Are they stand-alone, Paired or Bonded as surrounds?

Do you have a Sonos product connected to the TV?

Hi @Baddebt

Welcome to the Sonos Community!

I am sorry to hear of this issue you are having with hearing popping sounds from your Era 300 when grouping it with a TV source.

We are aware of this issue and are investigating, though we have no estimate for when a fix might be put in place. I will update this thread when I hear of it.

In the meantime, it is possible that you can mitigate the issue by increasing the audio buffer between the source and the Era 300:

  • Navigate to Settings and select the Home Theatre product.
  • Under Home Theatre, select Group Audio Delay.
  • Set the Delay option to either Medium, High, or Max.

I hope this helps.

How?

As surrounds or Grouped?

As the Sonos staff answer above indicates, the HOW question is essential to a useful answer.
