i have  sonos Play5 and the bridge no longer works so i am unable to connect to both my speakers.   Is there a replacement for the bridge that would allow me to use the app to play music again.

Why not just connect the speakers via your wifi?

Both the BRIDGE, and its replacement, the BOOST are no longer sold by Sonos. Both are no longer considered necessary, as publicly available routers have become more affordable, and capable. As @nik9669a suggests, the most satisfactory experience today is to connect your Sonos system directly to your WiFi, and skip the use if the BRIDGE or BOOST. In fact, Sonos newer speakers have dropped the ability to connect to that kind of signal completely.

Wifi is probably  better but you could hook Ethernet directly to one of the speakers.

I suggest that you temporarily wire the PLAY:5 to the network, then switch to wireless. Once you have configured the PLAY:5’s wireless you can remove or keep the wired connection.
