I have just rebooted my play 3 , app says it’s not registered , I can’t seem to add it to the system I get to the point where your asked to press flashing button nothing happens !

 

the play 3 is connected to router with an Ethernet cable 

Probably need to hook it to your main router with Ethernet (as it is) and call Sonos support to have them push an update to it. Some older firmware won’t pull the latest update and needs a manual tweak.
