Play 3 (1st gen) permanent solid white light

after power cut…

play:3 disappeared from control and now has a ‘frozen’ white light. even after last resort factory reset.

is there any other solution to this?

A solid white light is the normal state. The following guide may help.

Thanks for the info, however even after reboot, the white light is stagnant. no blinking. it never changes colour whatsoever. can’t even factory reset… white light is constantly stagnant.

  • tried pressed play / pause
  • also tried linking ethernet cable direct.

yup, tried this too on the older S1 app and now S2. unfortunately.. still just ‘solid white’ and undetected.

only other info i can provide is a blinking orange light + solid green on the ethernet cable port that is directly connected.

i assume it won't update as well if its undetected?
