play:1 working wired but not wirelessly

Hi there 🙂 my Play:1 has been fine playing wirelessly for ages then suddenly disappeared from the app. I have followed all the reconnection app advice and have even reset the Sonos and deleted and reloaded the app. I can get it to work wired but as soon as I remove the Ethernet cable the app can’t fine it. When I do the trusted network it says that the Wi-fi password is accepted and all is fine - then when I remove the wire it disappears? 
any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could be experiencing WiFi interference:

What model router are you using?
