As per the title description. My Play:1 won't show up in the app.... Either in the system settings menu or on the main play menu.

All was fine and it was working fine until a couple of days ago when it randomly dropped out. And despite going through (several) factory resets and then connecting back via the app as a new product AND despite the app saying that connection is successful it won't show up.

Funnily enough it's the Sonos which is closet to my router. About a realistic 6 feet. And it's worked perfectly until a couple of days ago like I say. And nothing else within my control has changed.

Does anyone have any ideas?

After the factory reset did you add it back to your other Sonos or install it as a new system?

I added it back to my existing set up along with my other sonos.

still not visible.

Please force close the Sonos App and retest.

I have tried this…. thanks…. just did it now.

factory reset of the Play 1 and force closed the app.

Opened the app - could see the Play 1 that I wanted to add. Added it and it connected to the temporary Sonos network. Completed the set up - Play 1 and the app did the “handshake” where the app pings out the noise and the Play 1 responded. App then said that set up was complete and the Play 1 was added to my system. Play 1 made the completion noise at the end and all was well.

BUT - it still does NOT show up in my app. I can follow a completely successful “add product” process only to get to the end and nothing is showing up.

The rest of my system is working fine.

There have been a few posts about this recently.  Can you try the steps in my article below to rule out network issues:

If the problem persists after this, I suggest that you contact Sonos technical support as they have more tools available for them to investigate this issue.
