Here’s my dilemma with my Sonos Surround system.

I have the Arc Sound bar; (2) Era 100s currently used as the Surround back L/R; and the Sub (Gen 3).  Work perfectly as home theater setup.

But, due to the fact the Arc Sound bar is not BlueTooth capable; and, once the (2) Era 100’s are dedicated to Stereo Surround (which automatically disables them from being BlueTooth operable), there is no way to Blue Tooth music from my iPhone or iPad to play music through the Sonos System.

The only temporary fix to BlueTooth music to the Sonos system is to go back into the Sonos app and “Remove Surrounds” from the Era 100’s and then reassign the Era 100’s to Stereo Front L/R and re-adjust the volume.  Now, the Era 100’s BlueTooth will work.

My question: is there a way on the Sonos App to configure (program) two different listening environments and to easily toggle between the two configurations with just a click of a button.

For example:  “Configuration 1” would be were all the Sonos components are assigned as Home Theater setup—which would include the (2) Era 100s to be assigned as “Surround Back” speakers; and then, in “Configuration 2” would be that the (2) Era 100’s would be automatically reassigned as Stereo BlueTooth Speakers?

Your support please,

No.  Switching between the one-way, ad hoc, 5 GHz low latency network for surrounds and the configuration used for full stereo takes time to reconfigure the radios and perform the handshakes necessary to optimize the connections.  There’s no speeding it up.  They could put a one button toggle between the two, but it’s not going to make it any more seamless or faster than it is now.
