I have two Sonos Play 1 (1st generation, and 2d generation with Alexa).
It was working almost fine (well, except this horrible application ).
I had twice power outage. First one : OK. Second One : The App can’t find both Sonos.
WHen I try to reconnect, the app ask to run bluetooth...except thos Sonos doesn’t have blutooth ! I’m sticked.
I tried with Sonos S1 app...stucked too.
The Wifi is still the same.
HELP please !
I’m thinking to buy somethig else soon, seeing all the troubles I have
Thanks
Maybe see if this Sonos support link ‘might’ assist you to resolve the matter - treat the router as though it was a new/reset router and that you perhaps need to add the network credentials again to your products…

Also ensure your Sonos mobile controller device meets these system requirements…

If the issues persist then I suggest perhaps contacting Sonos customer support via this link:

There’s no first or second generation Play 1. There’s the Play 1 and the One (SL) that comes in two generations, the last of which has bluetooth for set up. Since you mention Alexa, you must have Play 1 and One (Gen 1), that can only be connected to a new network if you reset them, see the first link Ken mentioned.
Hello,
Some improvement
I did a factory reset for the old Sonos Play 1 (without Alexa).
The Sonos App 1 find it, but tells me to run Sonos App 2
The Sonos App 2 (actual) keeps telling me to give the credentials in the parameters...I finally managed to find it (not easy with Samsung S23 Android).
Sonos APp installed it fine. I unplugged / plugged the speaker...not seen by SOnos.
It keeps asking to add a speaker...but doesn”t find the network !!

I’d perhaps give Sonos customer support a call. See link in my earlier post.
I tried again...Now it find a BEAM speaker...while I don’t have one !
Really Sonos is too bad since 1 year. Application horrible, and now can’t connect.
Not sure I will contact the support, if they are as bad as this app

I guess if you choose to not seek the help of Sonos Support, then you’ll never know what the issue is.
It might be a simple mDN/SSDP ‘device discovery’ issue over the subnet involving a misconfigured router/switch setting, or perhaps 3rd-party security software such as VPN/Firewall or other App. It could even be a hardware issue and the diagnostic tools that the support staff have, might just save you a lot of wasted time, but it’s really a matter for you what road you prefer to go down.
Hello. I contacted Sonos support. I have to check something on my router. wIll do this week-end to see if I can fix everything.
Hello. I didn’t do anything else...and suddenly one of the speakers is working again ! I tried again with the old one...it’s now connected and working, but on a different network, i dont’ know why.
So new issue : how to connect both on the same network ?
I have SYST 1 and SYST 2.
ANy one had this issue before ?
Thanks

It sounds like you created two separate Sonos systems, referred to as ‘Sonos Households’ and added the speakers as a ‘room’ to each household. Only way to resolve that, if it is the case, is to first select a system, SYST 1 for example …and then simply ‘factory reset’ the speaker(s)/product(s) in the other system, SYST 2.
Then fully close/reopen the App and show SYST 1 devices only and now use Add Product (Speaker or Component)’ in the App settings to add your factory reset speaker(s) to that original system instead.
I hope that info. is clear enough for you to follow and that it resolves your issue.
Hello,
thanks for your last advice. I juste tried it, and it’s (finally) OK on both speakers. I can now manage them together or separetely.
I will never understand why SOno lost both speakers, and “found” them agian 10 days after.
thanks again to hyou and SOnos Support
