On my Play:1 first Gen. the light is not on. I’ve tried another outlet and changed the cable also. Also tried to push the Play bottum but nothing works and my Play:1 is not contacteble.

Have you checked in the controller if the ‘status light’ is turned on? I’d probably toggle that setting, and try ‘muting/setting the volume to zero’, to see if the LED comes on to show you the speaker is muted.
To be honest, i have turned off the LED wherever possible on my speakers, and covered many up with electrical tape, as I don’t want those LEDs to light up a darkened room. If an LED failed (they are electronics, after all), I likely wouldn’t notice it, and since it has no effect on sound, I wouldn’t care.
