In addition to all the issues that have been identified with the new app (unable to edit the queue etc) another problem is that if you have created stereo pairs (paired speakers) it is no longer possible to balence them (as in make one louder than the other). There is still a rudimentary EQ function (bass/treble) but it is no longer possible to balance speaker pairs. Super-annoying.
