Hello. My sonos play 1 speaker is not connecting to my computer. This is odd, because it randomly disconnected. I tried resetting and rebooting it, but nothing worked. It would be great if I could hear about a way to fix it. Thank you.

Hi @isabellablumberg, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear that your Play:1 keeps disconnecting. Like @Stanley_4 suggested, we need some more information so we can provide accurate troubleshooting steps.

First, we’ll need to know how you’re playing to your speaker, as the Play:1 can’t directly connect to a computer. Are you using the Desktop Controller or are you streaming via a music service’s direct connection?

If you’ve ‘reset’ as in factory reset, and the Play:1 is your only speaker, then any diagnostic information on the speaker will have been lost and you’ll have to set it up as a new system. Our setup guide will take you through the steps to get your speaker back online.

I hope this information helps!

Connecting to your computer?

Maybe connecting to the Sonos Controller?

Connecting to your Music Library on your computer?

More details will let someone figure out the issue and likely how to fix it.
