MP3 player for Ikea Symfonisk bookshelf gen 2

We’ve just purchased two Symfonisk bookshelf speakers for use in our coffeeshop. They work great on our wifi, but I’d like to get a dedicated mp3 player to play playlist instead of using a phone or computer.

Does anyone have any recommendations for (and luck with) an inexpensive device that can stream through wifi to the speakers? Thanks!

Seems like a lot of work for no obvious gain. The Sonos app is just a remote control - once you start the playlist, you can drop the phone in a blender and the music will continue, as the speakers do the streaming, not the app device.

Assuming the music playlist is from the .mp3 player, and it’s not an Apple device (AirPlay 2 isn’t an option), then you’d need a Sonos device with an analog line in that you could connect a cable to, from the .mp3 player. These would be a Sonos Era 100 or 300, a Sonos Five, or a Sonos Port. You also have the potential to send a Bluetooth signal to a Roam, which could then share that signal with your Sonos system.
