Hello everyone!

Can someone please help me identify what “Model S14” means under the Sonos beam soundbar?

Thank you!

Hi @Flavianus , a quick search in Google can give you the information much faster than the forum 😅

As far as I’ve read in Reddit, it seems to be a Beam Gen1. As the Gen2 is S31.

Found the same thing on the internet, but it is really strange because I have the Gen 2...that’s why I am confused and asked this question here.

Mmm, you’re right, this other thread says the opposite.

We’ve to wait then to the real experts 😅

@Flavianus, S14 is the Beam 1. Are you sure that yours is a Beam 2?

The easiest way to tell the difference is the Beam Gen 1 has a soft fabric grill. The Gen 2 has a hard polycarbonate plastic grill.

Yes, on the main box it’s written Gen 2, also under the soundbar it’s written Beam Gen 2 also…

Did you buy it new or used? Can you post a front picture of your Beam?

The product is new.

Below a photo with the box.

When you touch the front of the Beam, is it plastic or stofă?

Plastic

Plastic

Okay, would be Beam 2 then. Don’t have a clue why it says S14.
