Can this be done? I think I read I’ll need an amp for each pair of ceiling speakers and wall speakers but curious if these can all be paired together?

You can connect up to four 8 ohm passive speakers to one Amp. You can connect up to six Sonos Architectural speakers to one Amp. But each Amp acts as one zone meaning all speakers wired to the Amp will play the same music at the same volume.
If you have two sets of speakers (pair of in-ceiling speakers and pair of in-wall speakers) connected to two separate Amps, they will be two separate zones. But they can be grouped together in the Sonos app to play the same music at the same time.
