line in sonos 5

Problem. 

 

I have just acquired a Sonos five, I already have two Sonos one SL’s, was hoping I would be able to plug it into my Cambridge amplifier so I can play records through all the speakers. connected line in on app But doesn’t play anything, Cambridge is on Aux setting. Please help

Are you sure the AUX setting on the Cambridge is output?  Any AUX I’ve ever seen is an input.  You need to connect an output on the Cambridge to the Line-In on the Play:5.

To be honest, I’m a bit clueless with this as it’s all new to me, I’ve attached some pictures, any pointers would be much appreciated. Purchased a wire that I thought would work but didn’t. As said previously, I have two Sonos one SL as a stereo pair and a Sonos five that I’m using the aux for

Try using your Record Out to connect your Sonos.
