factory reset sonos 1

Hey community 

doing a factory reset in Sonos one, it appears on screen to connect for a split second then disappears remaining disconnected.  
any thoughts on how to get around this?  App is current.  All other speakers connected no probs.

Have you wired the unit to the network while attempting setup?

I suspect a hardware issue. It would be best to work with SONOS support.
