You will need two separate mobile devicesĀ - one mobile phone is used as a WiFi Hotspot for the Era 300 speaker tethering - and the other (separate) mobile is then used together with the Sonos ācontrollerā App installedā¦ that mobile also needs to be tethered to the first mobile phone hotspot.
If your Sonos App is on the same device that you are using for the WiFi hotspot, then it will not work.Ā

If youāre trying to connect with Bluetooth before setting it up on WiFi, it canāt be done. The device (speaker) needs to be initialized first.Ā
