The era 100 has a serious manufacturing issues.
I have 3 in a row and grills start randomly cracking and falling apart. They have replaced defective speakers but I don’t believe they have fixed the manufacturing issues. The quality is simply not the same with these speakers.
Odd. I have several of these scattered around my home, and none of them are exhibiting this issue.
Do you pick them up to move them around? If you have a record of their serial numbers do they seem to be from the same batch? Could there be any air temperature or humidity conditions of note? Do they degrade after the same elapsed time in your home? Were there any signs of failure at the time of delivery?
Take pictures and call Sonos support, if they want them forward the pictures.
