era 100 bluetooth and microphone problem

I am trying to add voice control to my Sonos era 100. Even though the microphone button is set to "on", the Sonos app asks me to make sure microphone is on. 

I also cannot pair my era 100 using Bluetooth.

Has anyone encountered this problem?
