Looking to add a subwoofer to my existing Sonos sound system of 3 Play:1 speakers. The Sub Mini listing states it pairs with One speakers, but what about the older Play:1s? (Just for music, not TV.)

The web site says “At least one amplified non-portable product, such as One, One SL, Ray, or Beam”.
So long as its running S2 you’ll be fine.
