Connection issues with Samsung Galaxy S10

Hi,

I just bought the Sonos multiroom speakers Five and Era300. I am having issues with the connection. The setup worked fine, I was able to connect both speakers and initially the music is running in both rooms, but then sometimes one room will lose contact and just stop playing the music. And without me doing anything it will start playing again, going on and off... it's so annoying.

Also, there is a latence in how quickly the system reacts to f.ex. me regulating the volume through my mobile, or pausing the music etc.

My husband has a One Plus mobile, he isn't experiencing the same issues, it runs smoothly on his phone.

Is there anything I can do? Help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Thank you for your reply! I'll try that!

Though I'm just wondering why my husband wouldn't be experiencing the same issues then, as he is connected to the same WiFi.

If you have a mesh network, you may be connected to different nodes.

This sounds like WIFI issues.  Are you using a Mesh network?  Is it possible to connect one of your devices with an ethernet cable to test if this stops the issue?

Which speaker is suffering from sound dropouts?  When your husband is playing both speakers do the dropouts still occur?

It's true, we do have a mesh network. Didn't think of that. I'll try it tonight!

It was mainly the Era100 (I know I wrote Era300, but I mixed them up, it's the smaller one).

But they both react with a latence on me pausing the music, or adjusting the volume through my music streaming app.

My husband is not experiencing any of the mentioned issues.

Era100 doesn't have an ethernet port. :/
