connecting to app

Hi, 

 

i have a sonos sl and sonos roam and - for the love of god and after too many attempts - cannot connect them to the app.  I always get through the setup process but they then dont appear as devices - even if I follow the instructions to unplug.

 

anyone?  I might otherwise be inclined to throw them out of the window..
