I am now very close to the end game- all speakers work wirelessly through echo dot and can be directed by voice. I have a pair of Play 5s older 1s and voice activated 1s. Also. Cd player and turntable working through a mixer. Now one line in goes to the mixer connected to play 5.The other line in through the echo dot. and is connected through Play 5. I was hoping that this would allow the components to play through the 1s. It does not. It only plays through the play 5s . The 1s are in different rooms so I was hoping not to have to run Ethernet wires. The router is powered through Spectrum. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thank you. Dale Dancis

When you say “work wirelessly” you mean “work with streamed music”?
Start the cd playing to the Play:5s. Then group the Play:1 and One. I think it’s order-dependent in order to maintain the source of the music - ie the cd.

Not sure which are Play:1’s or Ones, but you probably now need to use the Group feature.

Can you expand on that? You say, in effect, “it works but it doesn’t work”.
What works? What doesn’t? What are you trying to achieve?
All work wirelessly. Ive grouped the speakers everywhere and they work when streaming. I can do voice through Echo dot on my play 5s.Even the two components-ace player and cd player both work through the play 5s however no sound comes through the 1pair in both the kichen and the bedroom- when I use the cd player or tuner through the mixer. Is that clearer?
