Does anyone know if the sonos OS S2 is compatible for surround sound with the new beam or ray or subwoofer?

If the two speakers you are referring to are the Sonos Play:1 or Sonos One, then yes, they will work as surrounds with a Sonos Beam or Sonos Ray and Sonos Sub or Sonos Sub Mini as long as you are using the Sonos S2 app.

Can you rephrase your question? It doesn’t quite make sense.

Sure thing. I bought two speakers years ago and want to add a sound bar and subwoofer but wasn’t sure if they would be compatible to complete a surround sound experience .

Just remember the two speakers need to be the same model (so both need to be the Sonos One for example) and if you go ahead with your plan, while setting things up you’d ad the surrounds to the soundbar not the soundbar to the surrounds. If the speakers form a stereo pair now they need to be separated.
