Hi,

Newbie here hoping someone can help..have a play 1 and 3 and a beam. Play 1 and 3 seem to work fine and as expected when beam is not powered on. However once beam is on both play 1 and 3 disappear from sonos app which is very frustrating. Hasnt always been like this but xant quite pin point when it started happening 

You may have set them up as two systems, it’s hard to tell.  However, if they worked properly ‘before’, this shouldn’t be the case. I’d be tempted to try a power cycle of all devices first, followed by a check for updates. Are you using S1 or S2? Have you called Sonos Support to discuss it?
