cannot get speaker to disconnect from music

Unable to disconnect music from a speaker.  Using port and cannot get it to play from my cd player because a song that was played from the Sonos app will not close.

There isn’t a need to close a playing room queue - the playing queue will stop and get replaced anyway ‘by default’ if you play another audio source to the room.

Perhaps give a little more detail if that does not provide the answer you’re looking for here.
