Hello, Is it possible to play music from a USB key with Sonos Era 300 and Move? I have the Lin in adapter... I tried, I see the little lines that move but no sound and I don't see the pieces of the key.... sorry for the English, I had it translated with Google ;-) thanks

@cbus24,

It doesn’t just need the Sonos audio adapter for the line-in connection, it needs a device that will play the audio over that link too, like an MP3 music player, for example, (assuming the tracks are in a compatible/playable format).

Any music player with a line-out that can connect to the Sonos Adapters 3.5mm analog input should work.

A USB key though is not going to work all by itself.

I think OP is saying he does use the right adapter, but attaches it to a USB thumb drive. As Sonos expects an analogue signal to the adapter this won’t work.

@Ken_Griffiths

ok, thanks for the info... I also have a Ruark R5 and I can just put the key in it and it works, that's why I was thinking of doing the same with Sonos... Thanks again :-)
