I have a Sonos play 5 gen 2 speaker that I love but recently I haven’t been able to connect it to my app with out the use of a Ethernet cable. The speaker is outside of warranty so is there something you can do or am I out of luck.

Unfortunately, Sonos doesn’t have a repair service, either internally, or via ‘authorized’ repair centers. If you choose to seek an external repair shop, there isn’t much Sonos can do. If you choose to ‘trade up’ to a later model, if you haven’t used that up yet, Sonos does offer a discount to a new speaker.

Your best bet would be to call Sonos Support directly to discuss it.

I have a pair of these PLAY:5 gen2s myself, which I listen to daily.

There are 3rd party repair centers in the EU and UK.
