Translation:
Good morning,
Has anyone already installed their ERA100 in the B-SYSTEM GINEOS support?
I would like to know if the proper diffusion of the sound is ensured once an Era 100 is installed in the support? Isn't the sound too confined? I would like to make sure that the surround is functional and that the support does not deteriorate the sound quality.
Thank you for your help!
Response:
Not sure what a B-System Gineos is. If it’s a router, it should have absolutely no effect on the sound coming from any Sonos speaker. Either you get what the speaker puts out, or you don’t, there is no ‘modification’ of the speaker’s ability to generate sound. If you’re getting different formats sent to the speaker’s ability (depending on the streaming service), that could change the output of the speaker’s ability, but then it’s reacting to the source data, and not anything else.
If I take your post another way, placing the Gineos as a ‘fron’t home theater system, the Sonos speakers can only be used as surrounds for an Sonos soundbar, and not other third party soundbars. The same goes with the Sonos Amp, driving your own speakers. It can only be ‘bonded’ as a surround device to a Sonos system.

I believe the B-System Gineos is just a speaker mount.
Thanks. Hard to imagine any speaker designed for ‘the round’ wouldn’t be impacted by such a container, but I’ve never tried, so I wouldn’t be able to be certain. So, I’ll leave responses to those who have tried.

C’est ce que je me dis aussi ..
There are a few posts about the enclosure on a private Facebook group, but reading the comments, there didn’t appear to be anyone who had actually installed them, the comments were mainly just questioning why.
