Awfully quiet in here

After mistakenly leaving tunein on overnight our sonos one stopped listening to us.   We will use the prompt “Hey Google, play ____X_____” and the response from our speaker is “Okay, playing ___X____ on tunein or “playing ___X___ on spotify”.   Then, nothing, crickets, no sound.

This happened to our kitchen speaker but now our bedroom speaker will not work either.   Same thing.  I can use spotify from my iphone but no voice control.   

 

Things I have tried thus far:

Reset the kitchen speaker

Deleted google assistant app on my iphone and re-installed it

Disconnected google assistant on sonos app and reconnected it

 

Anyone have ideas that might work?   Thank you.

What you should have done is taken a look at https://status.sonos.com, where is says there’s an outage with Google Assistant at the moment.
