Has anyone else noticed that their Arc Ultra has started making light crackling sound. It's not 100% of the time but every now and then and gets resolved if I restart the Apple TV. I’ve had the Ultra for months now and never had any issues but after the most recent update, it started happening. Even the wife noticed it so I’m not imaging it, haha.

My Arc software is - 17.2 Build 90.0-67171

However, seriously it seems a bit coincidental that the noise is just noticed after the update and restarting AppleTV seems to resolve the issue 🤔. You’ll want to check the HDMI connection between your Arc Ultra and your TV. If all good then I’d look at the HDMI connection between AppleTV and your TV. Maybe even swap out the HDMI cables on both the Arc Ultra and AppleTV

If you have another AV streaming device connected to your TV I’d remove the AppleTV temporarily and use the other streamer to see if the issue continues. Even if you don’t have another streaming device but can stream AV via built-in apps on your smart TV I’d still dis-connect AppleTV and test with the built-in apps.

I’d also be tempted to reboot the TV (in addition to the Apple TV), by unplugging it from the wall for two minutes. Might be worth double checking it for updates to its OS before doing so.
