From the look of it apple will update airplay2 soon and we will be able to get dolby atmos from airplay2!

this means i guess we can dolby atmos music without relying on sonosnapp? No pun intended, for my spotify or general music playing i almost go to airplay2 by default maybe because it’s an old habit. 
 

what do you guys thinl?

I have tried it on the public beta but does not seem to be live yet. 
 

either apple haven’t activated the feature or our Sonos speakers will require an upgrade. 
 

I hope Sonos can get this working! 
 

i have a surround setup with the arc and not to rely on a cable would be a god send!!
