There is an ant colony living inside our Sonos One. Hundreds of them, eggs, etc. Has anyone had this happen before? It must have been shipped like that.

If you search the community there are other owners who have had this issue.

Sonos stated that this is not a documented issue, it is excluded from the warranty, and there is nothing that can be done about it. Just bought this as a Christmas gift for daughter. Pretty disgusting.

It’s your network.

Don't think so. Many people have reported this same thing. Too much of a coincidence. It's relatively new and there is no trace of any ants around it anywhere.

No, it’s definitely your network. Try rebooting the router.

You know we are talking about ants, right?

Most bugs are resolved by a reboot.

Your Sonos was nice and warm, ants love warm for their egg incubating. Turn it off and pick up all the ants you can. Maybe some canned air to blow out more of the critters.

Second most common Sonos critter issue: Cats love warn too, while they can’t get inside they can hit the Play button at 2 AM.

Third would be critters getting inside the Subs, or small children stuffing in toys.

It's a  feature, not a bug.
