My ERA100 does not play music via computer even though both my wifi system and the sonos app says its connected and signal is strong.  When I first set it up, everything worked perfectly for a couple of weeks. Now, if I am streaming from my desktop (e.g., iTunes via airplay), the sonos app thinks it is playing (i.e., it shows the song, the album art, and time stamp moves along as normal) but nothing comes out from speaker.  However, I can stream via Airplay from my iPhone and music plays normally.  At one point, I could play from computer via Bluetooth (but not airplay) as well but that seems to have gone now too. 
 

I have gone through complete factory resets, deleted everything and set it up as if it was completely new, rebooted router, etc.  No change.  I called Sonos support, spent literally hours on the phone with a tech, reset, rebooted, reconnected everything once again, submitted diagnostics, and no help/no change.

I’m sorry to hear that you’ve been having issues with your Era 100 not playing from your computer. 

I’ve had a look into the case and troubleshooting you performed with our support team: you’ve done with them what I would recommend and suggest. I do see that you case has been escalated to our Level 2 support but there isn’t any update on the case that I can see yet. 

I would recommend keeping an eye on your email inbox for contact from our team about this. You can always reach back out to them for another update by using your case number or email address registered to your Sonos account.
