Hi - I want to reset the Sonos system to get the maximum benefit on sound

Why? There should not be any ‘change’ in sound when you ‘reset’ your Sonos.

Have you instead called Sonos Support to discuss it?

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

 


You can reset your sound from the Room settings:

 

 

 

The only other thing that might impact sound is Trueplay that can also be turned off from the Room settings.

Doing a factory reset will result in much wasted effort in setting up your system again plus reconnecting all your services, recreating any saved lists and favorites.
