Hello,

I have the following setup:

Beam connected directly to my TV

Two wired rear surrounds connected to a connect:amp

Two wired outdoor speakers connected to a connect:amp

Play:1

I have a wired subwoofer I would like to add to the system.  Is this doable?

Thanks

You can connect a powered subwoofer to the Connect:Amp wired to the outdoor speakers. The subwoofer output is disabled on the other Connect:Amp because it is being used as surrounds for the Beam.

Ok that’s what I was thinking. Thank you for your input.

Ok I finally got this set up. Connected the amp to the deck and it works. However, I can’t “add sub” and I’m assuming it’s because it’s not a Sonos sub.

my biggest issue now is I don’t want the deck speakers on but want the sub on while I’m listening indoors. Is there a way to independently control speakers through the amp?

thanks

The “Add Sub” feature is used only to add a Sonos Sub or Sub Mini.

With your setup, the subwoofer works together with the outdoor speakers. You can’t just use the subwoofer alone with the indoor speakers.
