Both. Which one it uses also depends on the configuration and the speaker model.

In general, I usually recommend the use of the 2.4 GHz band, it has better ‘penetration’ of materials, and the extra speed of 5Ghz just isn’t necessary for music. Essentially, there is zero benefit for using a 5 GHz channel.
