I have two Era 100’s, a multi disc pioneer CD player, and a Sonos Line-In Adapter. Nothing has been unboxed or plugged in yet. I’m waiting on responses before I begin this.

I have working internet and wifi at my house so I don’t mind using it to setup if needed - however - I do not wish to keep the speakers connected in anyway to my internet. I want to use them hard-wired to the cd player. I don’t want to stream or use voice commands or the sonos app etc. I DO want them to be stereo and I am not doing multi-room. I also will not be moving or relocating them.

How do I accomplish this?

I’m not sure what you mean by “internet”. WiFi is required to control the units. Overall, I don’t think it is practical to use SONOS long term without an external Internet connection.

I don’t need to “control” the units. the cd player will continue playing and the volume will stay the same.

You’ll still need to connect them on a wifi link to (a) set them up; and (b) use them as a stereo pair.

Why buy network speakers if you don’t plan to use them on a network?

I like the sound.

You cannot use them as a stereo pair unless you use them with an internet connection.
