Sonos very rarely preannounce features, and never with stuff like this.

That won’t happen until TV manufacturers develop a universal WiFi transmitter to wirelessly send audio to speakers other than their own branded wireless speakers. In other words even though some TV’s can send audio over WiFi to their own branded speakers the technology is a closed ecosystem. For Sonos to allow any speaker to receive audio from a TV Sonos would need to license the proprietary technology used by each TV manufacturer that has audio over WiFi capability. That is too costly and probably not an area that Sonos wants to align with. So for now it’s use a Sonos soundbar via HDMI connection to a TV. But never say never 😊

Even if this would be possible - why would you want this to work? Why use expensive Atmos capable speakers wth a TV, and in stereo?

The TV connection issue hardest to resolve is latency/delay and standard Wi-Fi just doesn't do that well.

I'd love to see an Era type speaker with an HDMI input and the Sonos 5 gHz link current surrounds use to connect the other speaker(s). Be even nicer if it was a smaller, center channel design that linked to a R/L Pair.
