Hi, this might be a little OCD so bear with me.
I’ve just fully removes the power cord from my Play One to move the speaker. Getting the plug out of the bottom of the speaker was a challenge.
I had to rock the cord from side to side to get it out, what are the chances this could damage the two prongs in the bottom of the speaker?

Rocking is not good, a straight pull is better and safer for the connections.
Give the plug and cord a light coat of DRY silicone lube. DO NOT use the greasy type silicone.

Yeah, it just wasn’t happening!
Its working fine I’m just hoping the connections are not damaged. I’m guessing I’m overthinking this.

I worried too, was thinking I was going to break something putting the plugs in, which is when I hit them with the dry lube.
I used some Dupont Teflon dry-film lube.
Squirt your finger, let it dry, wipe on plug. No more worries.
