Hi there, natskips. Thanks for posting and welcome to the Community. While we do not have any information to share about an outdoor speaker, I am happy to forward your request and interest along to the team for consideration. Thanks for the feedback and keep it coming!
The house I just bought had speakers already installed outside, with speaker wires run to the back of the stereo cabinet. I just use my ZP100 (ancient predecessor to the Connect) to drive them. There are numerous outdoor speakers for sale. This option of course requires you to be able to run the wire, which may include drilling a hole in your outside wall and caulking around it, so that may not be ok if you're renting.
Another option might be to use a Play:1 or One, if you can keep it under cover - they're humidity resistant and backyards and patios are noted directly on the 'Shop' page for both. If you don't have a patio, perhaps you could mount them, perhaps a shelf on the wall with a rain shield above them.
Hmm, that sounds like a great aftermarket product - an outdoor rain shield that doesn't obscure the speaker grill, but keep the speaker from getting hit directly by rain .

If you cannot do the ideal solution quoted with the amp kept indoors, consider also the many good bluetooth speakers as a possibility for something that is weatherproof, and does not need a mains outlet in the garden. With streaming services easily available via dedicated WiFi+Bluetooth capable devices like even an old/cheap Android device, this is a lot more viable now than it was a few years ago. The only con is that music will not be in sync with that playing indoors.
