Sonos Era 100 - What do you think?

Hey everyone,

I recently got a Sonos Era 100 and overall I really like it – great bass for the size and a pleasant sound.

But I’ve noticed two things:

  1. The highs sound a bit muffled compared to the mids and lows, even after running Trueplay.

  2. It feels like the left tweeter is slightly weaker than the right, especially when I run left/right channel tests.

Has anyone else experienced the same with their Era 100, or is this just my unit / room placement?

I have already replaced the model believing it was a hardware issue 😅

Thanks in advance for your feedback 🙏

I have no such issues to my ear. However, you may want to turn off TruePlay tuning and allow the built-in Quick Tuning process to take over. Click the link below:

I have a pair myself, and absolutely no issues at all.

What you are hearing is typical of the Era 100's setup and room acoustics. This is why adjusting the placement or using an equalizer to boost the high frequencies usually helps more than replacing the unit.

As a test have you physically swapped the units?
