Sonos drop the 'bricking' of legacy products but still offer discount -

So, 

    it appears that Sonos has now dropped the ‘bricking’ on people’s old Sonos products as part of the recycle initiative which is great news…

But not such  good news for customers who’s devices are now bricked. A massive PR disaster. And wish I’d not been so loyal to Sonos now. Had their products for 10 years but after this won’t be buying any more.

If the device is still with you, I suggest asking Sonos to undo what they have done to it.

I contacted Sonos about this and they said the process is irreversible. NOT HAPPY.
