I have a PS4, Sky Q, sonos 3, two Sonos 1's , a Sonos playbar and Sony Bravia that's about 8 years old. At the moment I have the playbar connected to the sky Q box with an optical cable and an HDMI lead from sky box to TV. With this set up I can use the playbar to watch tv through sky. The TV does not have an optical out. My issue is trying to get the PS4 to run through the Sonos network. Can someone help?

The only audio output from a PS4 is over HDMI. Unless you have an HDMI to audio converter/splitter of some kind, then you will not be able to get the audio into the SONOS. The PS4 Pro does have an optical audio output, but that would not be a permanent solution as you are already using the optical in on the Playbar and would need to switch cables.
