See attached of the opening underneath the TV which was designed for another playbar - its opening is 5" in height. Therefore, currently the only placement option is laying flat. Will this work if placed at the edge of the opening? It has 11" space on each side.
I know the speakers are angled at 45 degrees but wondering if the enclosed area would compromise the sound quality?

Any advice or has anyone placed in this type of environment with orientation?

Thanks
It wouldnt be 100% ideal but at the end of the day, you already have it there, forget about maths of it all and just listen to it.

If it sounds good to you, thn great :)

If it doesnt sound good, then you need to address that
Here's what I did, I put a block ( I used wood ) as big as your space will allow , under the center back of the playbar to tilt it forward for better exposure to the drivers ( speakers ). It sure helped mine set in a recess similar to what you have something to try.

Good luck.
