I have not added to my Sonos system for some time but last week i purchased a new Play 1 to create a stereo pair in one of the rooms.
No issues with pairing or playing anything etc and the software has been updated. But what i have noticed is that the LED status light is considerably brighter on the new speaker than it is on the older one.
The only difference i can see is the Hardware Versions but this shouldn't make a difference?
Existing Play 1 Hardware Version: 1.8.3.7-2
New Play:1 Hardware Version: 1.20.1.6-2
Is the difference in LED brightness normal?

+20Hi, silkit. Welcome to the community. LED lights dim with time. As opposed to other bulbs that extinguish altogether at the conclusion of their life-cycle, LED lights will gradually change in terms of brightness. I can only attribute it to that.
